Construction of the 2020 Thin Maintenance Overlay Project, Formal Bid No. 2020/02 , consists of the installation of a Thin Maintenance Overlay (TMO) of asphaltic concrete (AC) and various concrete improvements of pedestrian facilities of various City streets and all work necessary to render the facility complete and operational.Bid security, in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total bid dollar amount, is required to be submitted with each bid. The bid security shall be in the form of a bidder's bond or a certified or cashier's check drawn upon a responsible bank made payable to the City of Santa Maria, and conditioned to be forfeited to said City in the event that the bidder, if the bid is accepted, does not enter into a written contract within ten (10) days after the awarding of the contract. The bidder to whom award is made will be required to furnish a payment bond and a faithful performance bond.
