Notice is hereby given that the Burke County Board of Commissioners will let a contract to the lowest responsible, qualified, bidder by sealed bids submitted to the Burke County Board of Commissioners, P.O. Box 89, 602 N. Liberty Street, Waynesboro, Georgia 30830 for the construction of a new Animal Shelter. Bids will be opened during the Commissioners’ meeting at 6:00 p.m. that same day. NO CONTACT can be made with the Facilities Director or any other Burke County personnel. Contacting any individuals with Burke County will immediately disqualify any bidder. Proof of General Liability Insurance and Workman’s Compensation Insurance will be required with The Burke County Board of Commissioners listed as an additional insured. The Burke County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award the bid based on the highest and best interests of Burke County.
