The Douglasville-Douglas County Water & Sewer Authority is inviting bids for all labor, tools, equipment, and expenses to provide the removal and replacement of two (2) double wing catch basins; removal of 30 linear feet (LF) of 18-inch Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) and replacement with 30 LF of 24-inch Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) via open cut; the removal of 124 LF of 24-inch CMP and replacement with 30-inch RCP via open cut; the installation of one (1) 30-inch concrete headwall and rip rap apron at the 30-inch RCP outfall; the removal of an existing 60-inch CMP culvert and replacement with a six-foot high by seven-foot wide reinforced concrete box (RCB) culvert which is buried one foot; the removal of concrete headwalls associated with the existing 60-inch CMP culvert and replacement with concrete headwalls for the six-foot high by seven-foot wide RCB culvert; the installation of rip rap apron at the RCB outfall; the replacement of any removed or damaged asphalt, driveways, and/or concrete curb and gutter; the hauling off and proper disposal of any removed or demolished materials. Special Conditions and Appendices contain more detailed information on the project scope. All work will be performed within Authority easements and/or inside public right of way. All anticipated federal, state, and local permits required for the Project have been obtained. All anticipated rights of way and easements required for the Project have been obtained. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
