It is the purpose and intent of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) to procure a vendor to perform maintenance inspections and recommend corrective action for all the chiller units in use as listed herein for the Muscogee County School District (MCSD or the Board). The Muscogee County School District may require that the awarded proposer furnish a bond as security for faithful performance contractor and a bond for the faithful payment of all material and labor associated with the work called for in the contractual documents. All costs associated with obtaining the bonds shall be deemed to be included in the price sheet. The school district may waive the bond requirements or require bonds at a lower project cost if it is in the best interest of the school district. The bonds will be used to conform to the Georgia law. Failure to provide the bonds when required may be grounds for termination of the contract or non-acceptance of the proposal. Bond requirements will need to be fulfilled before the Purchase Order will be issued and any work performed. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
