Citywide Concrete Grinding & Shaving Project Vallejo,Ca

The scope of services shall include, but is not limited to, the following: Pre-Construction Meeting: Upon receipt of a written Notice to Proceed from the City of Vallejo, Consultant shall conduct a kick-off meeting with the City to review the scope of the project, develop a project schedule, and confirm deliverables. The Project Manager for the City of Vallejo will specify locations throughout the City with varying service needs.Provide concrete inspections services for designated areas.All locations shall be ground or shaved so as to provide a uniform and smooth surface that complies with ADA requirements.. The Contractor shall minimize grooving and scaring of the adjacent concrete. During grinding or shaving, the Contractor shall provide dust control. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials to fully complete the work at the contracted price. At no additional cost, the Contractor shall properly collect, remove, and dispose of all grinding and shaving residue.The Contractor shall provide temporary pedestrian traffic control (according to CA MUTCD) to ensure safety to the public Meetings: Conduct progress meetings, if needed, with City staff to discuss project status and review work.The Contract duration is for three (3) years and has the option to extend one (1) additional year with the authorization of the Public Works Director.The Cost Proposal shall include prices for all three years. If the Contractor is extended for an additional year, the price for the additional year will be adjusted by written agreement. Prepare monthly invoicing for work performed by the Firm. Q&A due by 02/25/20 at 4PM.
