The work consists of the installation of a new 4MW emergency generator as part of the resiliency upgrade of the District Energy Systems (DES) Springfield Chilled Water Plant. Work will include general site preparation, installation of a separate standalone fuel tank, concrete pads, switchgear and high power buried conduit/cable. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
