The scope of work includes mowing Countywide Drainage Retention Areas (DRAs). The DRAs being bid are divided into five separate contract areas as detailed in the bid documents. The work includes routine mowing of DRAs, drainage right-of-ways, adjacent road right-of-ways, and conveyance swales within drainage easements where identified. It also includes trimming around structures such as pipe ends, discharge structures, signs, trees, fence lines, and areas that may require use of specialized equipment. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
