The Housing Authority of Port Arthur is seeking a contractor for the electrical repairs.2.1 The purpose of this IFB is to form a pool of contractors that the Agency may draw from to contract for all phases of, including, but not limited to: 2.1.1 Lot #1, High Voltage (or General) Electrical Work. High voltage; all phases of interior 110v and 220v electrical, including lighting; outlets; switches; breakers; timers; building service panels; site lighting; and any other related electrical work the Agency may order; and 2.1.2 Lot #2, Low Voltage Electrical Work. Security systems; Door Access Systems; Camera Systems; Alarm Systems; Intercom System; Control panels; and other low voltage devices as may be needed. 2.1.3 Additional Services. Any other electrical-related maintenance, repair, or installation work the Agency may order. 2.1.4 Work Standards. It is the responsibility of each Contractor to ensure that each worker provided by the Contractor shall be fully trained and qualified to provide any assigned work. Accordingly, all work provided shall be guaranteed by the Contractor to be performed in a workmanlike manner and in accordance with all applicable laws, codes, and/or regulations, including, but not limited to: Uniform Building Code (UBC) and the National Electrical Code (NEC). Q&A due by 02/17/20 at 3PM. Bonds required. Previaling wages.
