The project site is located at 1716 Morgan Road. It is a triangular shaped lot, 14.96 acres in size. The site is bordered by Morgan Road to the West, Union Pacific Railroad Tracks and Highway 99 to the East and Industrial property to the South. The paved flat site includes a number of buildings (enclosed and partially enclosed) distributed over wide areas of the site, two small retention ponds on the southern portion of the site, and multiple open areas to stage equipment and store materials. Security fencing completely encloses the site. There are two access/egress points from/to Morgan Road. Both are equipped with rolling security gates that staff controls remotely. Phase I of the project has been completed. This phase of the project included demolition of several structures to accommodate a new administration building and a new shop building, as well as new parking areas, including utility improvements. As-built civil sheets from the project plans are included herein as Attachment A-4, Civil Drawings – Phase I Project. Phase II of this project includes the demolition and removal of three (3) existing buildings in the City Corporate Yard. These buildings are the Carpenter’s Shop Office, the Sign Shop, and the Pole Barn. A lead paint analysis was not completed on any of the structures to be removed. Asbestos reports have been completed on all three, the findings of which are summarized in attached document.
