Roof Area A1 (Approximately 1,968 square feet): Remove the existing roof system down to the existing wood plank deck; re-secure wood plank deck to framing members; mechanically attach base sheet; adhere two layers of 2.2” roof insulation in foam adhesive; adhere overlayment insulation in foam adhesive; adhere a two-ply modified bitumen roof membrane and flashings in low VOC cold process adhesive and provide new sheet metal flashings and trim to provide a complete, watertight, 20-year warrantable roof assembly. Roof Area A1: Remove and store terracotta coping; provide fully soldered stainless steel flashing over parapet wall; provide sheet metal underlayment; set terracotta in grout and replace damaged pieces in accordance with unit prices. Roof Area A2 (Approximately 69 square feet): Remove the existing roof system down to the existing structural metal deck; re-secure the existing metal deck to structural members; mechanically attach 1.5” roof insulation; adhere 1.5” insulation in foam adhesive; adhere overlayment insulation in foam adhesive; adhere a two-ply modified bitumen roof membrane and flashings in low VOC cold process adhesive and provide new sheet metal flashings and trim to provide a complete, watertight, 20-year warrantable roof assembly. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
