Pitt Community College seeks competition for the purchase of floor padding plus installation of product in the Law Enforcement Training Center (LET). The padding will be approximately 1,200 square feet of room space, custom fit, wall to wall, (one piece or as few joints as possible), two inches (2”) in depth, royal blue with optional insignia. The wrestling mat(s) will replace the current configuration. It must be highly durable without sacrificing protection. It must be able to withstand training that involves tactical boots. The mat(s) must be easily cleaned and have fillers in the joints to prevent cleaning fluids from seeping into the underlayment. At the entrance to the room, special care should be taken to accommodate the swing of the door, along with a smooth transition onto the mat and should be reinforced for high traffic. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
