It is the intention of the City of Syracuse, New York to secure grass cutting services at various parks, and parkways (herein called work sites), athletic fields, vacant lots and vacant property and water reservoir and pumping stations for various City Departments, as specified. In addition, the City shall secure grass cutting services at various undetermined parks, parkways and athletic fields, vacant lots and vacant property at an hourly rate for various City Departments. A bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, bank cashier/teller/treasure’s check, payable to the County of Onondaga, or cash, in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid must accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted a contract will be entered into.
