The purpose of this Invitation for Bid is to obtain pricing from an experienced and qualified vendor for Janitorial Services for the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS), Food and Drug Protection Division, Constable Laboratory located at 4000 Reedy Creek Road, Raleigh, NC 27607. The Food and Drug Protection Division assures consumers that items such as, but not limited to, food, feeds and pesticides are safe, wholesome and properly labeled. The lab tests products which require the use of chemicals, glassware and equipment. The Vendor DOES NOT handle any materials labeled as biohazardous nor do they touch or handle chemicals, glassware, equipment, computers etc. The Vendor provides the day to day tasks: emptying trash, replace can liners, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning of restrooms, wash and dry entrance and door glass, replenish restroom supplies, etc. as outlined in the proposal. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
