The Town of Glenville (OWNER) is seeking Qualified Contractors to provide construction services for the development of the next phase of improvements to Maalwyck Park, situated on the north side of the Mohawk River near Lock 8. The facilities will be owned and maintained by Town. Interested Contractors are encouraged to submit bid proposals for the work as outlined below: The scope of work generally includes: The installation of primary electric service to a new pavilion area; with provisions for the future lighting of athletic fields and parking lot. Installation of sanitary service from NYS Rte. 5 to the pavilion area. Installation of water service from NYS Rte. 5 to the pavilion area. Construction of a 40’ x 76’ park pavilion with restrooms/concession meeting all required building codes. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 5% of Bidder’s maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond [on the form attached] issued by a surety meeting the requirements of paragraphs 5.01 and 5.02 of the General Conditions. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
