This bid package generally consisting of the following components: Replace the Chemical Building. Increase the Chemical Building’s existing footprint to store and feed future effluent filter cleaning chemicals. Refurbish the existing pump station meter vault structurally and mechanically. Provide a second flow meter and vault at the pump station for redundancy. Rehabilitate the NPW Enclosure and sample station. Replace the hypochlorite feed pumps and all instruments in the Chemical Building and pipe the new hypochlorite system to the new effluent disk filters (hypochlorite is the cleaning chemical for the filters). This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
