Work contemplated to be performed under this contract is as follows: Installation of approximately 2,400 feet of 30-inch diameter storm drain, 700 feet of 12-inch and 18-inch diameter storm drain and associated excavation, shoring, dewatering, manholes, catch basins, lateral piping, bedding and backfill materials. Temporary traffic and pedestrian control during construction of the storm system improvements. Minor water system piping improvements including asbestos cement pipe removal and replacement with ductile iron pipe. Potholing existing utilities, avoiding utility conflicts, and providing temporary support for utilities within the excavation. Roadway pavement, concrete curb/gutter and sidewalk restoration along the storm drainage route. Installation of traffic signal video detection.
