Special servicing of individual units in addition to regular service may be required. The vendor shall provide special servicing within 24 hours of notification by the City’s Greenscapes Park Maintenance Division. Servicing of pet waste receptacles shall include the following: Clean up any litter, trash, or waste on the ground within a four foot (4’) radius of the container. Remove the plastic bag liner for disposal. Clean out the receptacle as needed so that the receptacle is free of pet waste, cups, paper products, sticks, stones, or any other objects deposited into the receptacles. Swab the inside of receptacle, inside of the lid, and the top of the lid with commercial disinfectant cleaner solution. Install the new plastic bag liner for in-ground receptacles, which shall be of appropriate size for a given receptacle and of sufficient strength to prevent tearing. Bags for above ground receptacles (total of ten (10) receptacles) shall be provided by the City’s Greenscapes Park Maintenance Division. The vendor shall report any damage, such as broken or bent top,s to the Greenscapes Park Maintenance Division. In addition, the vendor shall report any locations that appear to require more frequent service due to regular and/or heavy use. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
