The Butte County Department of Public Works is inviting bids for all labor, tools, equipment, and expenses to provide clearing and grubbing, traffic control, grading, installation of road drainage structures, road shaping, aggregate resurfacing, and erosion control, all in conformance with the California Department of Transportation 2010 Standard Specifications, and these Special Provisions, unless specified herein. Work products shall be consistent with the techniques specified in the “Handbook for Forest, Ranch, and Rural Roads” (Weaver, Weppner, and Hagans, 2015). All work shall include furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans, as described in the Special Provisions, or as directed by the Engineer. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
