The project involves the existing electrical system of the Belle Glade Transfer Station which is partially connected to the emergency distribution system. The work under this contract involves permitting and connecting the remaining electrical system to the emergency distribution system of the facility. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to removing an existing circuit breaker and an automatic transfer switch, and installing two (2) new circuit breakers; and an automatic transfer switch of high capacities to fully integrate all the existing electrical system to the emergency distribution system of the facility as per the drawings and specifications of the project. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
