The project is located at the State University of New York at Binghamton (SUNY Binghamton) and is anticipated to include a comprehensive renovation of approximately 22,000 square feet of space in the western half of Science IV. The project will include limited site work, asbestos abatement, and demolition, replacement of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and reconfiguration of program spaces. The building will be partly occupied for the duration of the construction and temporary partitions and modifications to egress will be required to facilitate construction phasing. Associated hazardous materials abatement is included in the work. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
