Rehabilitation of Astoria Boulevard Bridge over Bronx Queens Expressway East Leg in New York City. This work shall consist of performing Pneumatic Excavation and Back-fill of Trenches or Test Pits in accordance with the contract documents and as directed by the Engineer. This work shall include the protection of tree roots for purposes of installing conduits, direct burial cables and other subsurface utilities. This work shall consist of saw cutting existing reinforced or un-reinforced Portland cement concrete, including Portland cement concrete pavement and sidewalk, and composite pavement (asphalt concrete on reinforced or un-reinforced Portland cement concrete), at the locations indicated on the plans or where directed by the Engineer. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
