The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, training, tools, materials, equipment, permits and incidentals necessary to provide for the operation and maintenance of the Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 in-line Baggage Handling Systems (together the “BHS”) and the maintenance of the Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 Passenger Boarding Bridges and ancillary aircraft support systems (together the “PBB and AS Systems”) at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (the “Airport”). These services shall be provided with sufficient staffing at all times, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. All work shall comply with local, state and federal codes and regulations and shall be performed in accordance with this Scope of Work, all applicable supplier and/or Original Equipment Manufacturers’ requirements and documents, industry standards, and best commercial practices. The Contractor’s work shall also be compatible with the intended design, usage and manufacturer’s recommended preventative maintenance programs for the equipment and systems to be maintained and/or operated by the Contractor and shall be acceptable to the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority (the “Authority”). The systems and equipment to be operated and maintained under this agreement are mission critical to the operation of the Airport. Any failure of these systems and/or equipment may result in flight delays, missed baggage, customer inconvenience, security breaches, safety hazards and damage to baggage, aircraft or airport infrastructure. As such, the Contractor agrees to develop and adhere to a maintenance and operations program of the highest standards. It is the intent of this Scope of Work to provide basic information and minimum guidelines and requirements for the Contractor to use and follow. The project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
