Briefly, the work of the RFP includes design, permitting, and construction for replacement of an existing 140-ton chiller with a new 140-ton chiller with the capability of expansion to 240-tons, and associated demolition, construction, mechanical, and electrical work, including modifications to chilled water pumps and controls necessary for the new system's operation. Additive alternate proposals are included for upsizing chilled and condenser water piping; and for conversion to a variable flow, closed loop, chilled water system with new pumps, equipment, and modifications to existing piping, valving, controls, and appurtenances.
