The purpose of this project is to upgrade the City’s wastewater treatment plant ultraviolet (UV) disinfection process. This project includes validation of replacement recommendation in the recent Facilities Assessment, evaluate alternative, make a recommendation and design of a new UV system to fit in place of current system, installation of new design, programming to SCADA, testing of equipment and O & M plan. The goal of this project is to upgrade the UV disinfection process to meet future demands while decreasing energy costs and maintenance needs.
