The work under this contract shall be for furnishing all labor, materials, transportation and services for the construction and installation of the following work:Contractor shall install Owner provided equipment including two (2) installation frames, two (2) pneumatically sealed bulkheads, six (6) permanent bulkhead frames and twenty-four (24) sluice gates. The 316L stainless steel sluice gates include four (4) 12-inch sluice gates with manual actuators, four (4) 24-inch sluice gates with electric actuators and sixteen (16) 15-inch sluice gates with manual operators. The project will require modifications to the existing concrete walkway over the aeration inlet channel in five (5) places. Contractor shall furnish and install new aluminum grating over the new opening in the concrete and span across the existing opening. All existing gates shall be removed and salvaged to Owner. Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing and installing all stainless-steel anchors and mounting hardware needed for the project. Contractor shall be responsible for connecting new electric operators to existing power and control connections. Bonds required. MWSBE goals.
