Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Contract and Supply, City of Binghamton, City Hall, Binghamton, New York, for the following work. Salt Storage/transfer Station Renovations. Demolition and removal of concrete floor and ramp of existing transfer station. Fill placement and excavation of subgrade within building/ramp. Raise frame and grate of storm/sanitary structure(s). Install new reinforced concrete floor. No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by a notarized bid guaranty which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid for the total work contemplated to be done. At the option of the bidder, the guaranty may be a certified check, bank draft, negotiable US Government bonds (at par value), or a bid bond approved by the Corporation Counsel. Certified check or bank draft must be payable to the order of the City of Binghamton. Cash deposits will not be accepted.
