Remove all asphalt shingles and base sheet down to tongue and groove wood deck substrate. Re┽ nail wood deck to 2017 Florida Building Code, 2304.10.1 Fastener Requirements Item 31. Min 8d box or deformed at 6” o/c at sheet edges and 12” o/c in the field. Roofs with a slope of 4:12 or less require a double underlayment per 1507.2.2 and Table 1507.1.1 FBC 4. Use 3┽tab shingles classified as ASTM D3161 Class F, ASTM D7158 Class H or TAS 107 that are acceptable for use for all wind speeds per Table 1507.2.7.1 FBC Provide an allowance for replacement of 10% of T&G wood decking due to damage. All deck replacement shall be verified by district personnel and charged only for amount used. Provide and install new aluminum gutter and down leaders. Clean site, remove all trash and restore to previous condition. Contractor shall examine existing roof prior to bidding. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
