The project consists of the following generally described work: Relocation of approximately 930 LF of 8–Inch water main including Jack and Bore of 16–inch steel casing across SR–144, installation of valves, fire hydrants, and all necessary appurtenances. Relocation of approximately 800 LF of 8–inch PVC gravity sewer main, 200 LF 2–inch force main, and 200 LF of 4–inch force main along SR–144 including Jack and Bore gravity sewer under temporary roadways, installation of 6 manholes, and all necessary appurtenances. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. All bonds shall be by a surety company licensed in Georgia with an "A" minimum rating of performance and a financial strength of at least five times the contract price as listed in the most current publication of "Best's Key Rating Guide Property Liability.
