Estimate: $100,000-$125,000

Contractor shall demolish the existing (CMU/Metal Stud) 10’x25’ Toll facility. Demolition to include all building structure (exterior and interior components) and seal all remaining penetration holes on the remaining foundation slab with nonshrink grout. All existing underground utilities (piping, conduit and cable) to be capped/sealed and cut flush to concrete surface. Contractor shall install a temporary chain-link fence prior to beginning of demolition to provide pedestrian accessible route between the temporary and existing fence. Contractor shall remove/demolish the existing metal security fence, secure the exposed open area with a temporary security chain-link with 3 strand barb wire, chain-link fence barrier to be anchored to concrete surface. The installation of the new security fence shall be erected immediately. Owner to coordinate with contractor to determine what demo equipment that is removed to be either returned to the user Department (International Bridges) or disposed of properly by contractor. Contractor shall sandblast and repaint existing bridge wall that separates pedestrian from vehicles with an anti-graffiti coating. Contractor shall coordinate work activities with the International Bridges and Custom Border Protection on a daily basis for working schedule. Construction shall be from TBD PM to TBD AM. Work schedule be given at precon meeting. All Construction personnel must be vetted by CBI prior to commencement of project. Prior to commencement of any work, the Contractor shall submit and obtain approval from City of El Paso, Capital Improvement Program Department, for the Sequence of Construction, Schedule of Work, and Haul/Waste Route to an approved disposal site. Traffic Control Plan must be submitted and approved, if applicable. Contractor shall provide written approved documentation from the owner or operator of the waste site.
