The project consists of new and renovated buildings, including associated sitework improvements.A new Academic Building at the north end of the College will house a 600-seat lecture hall, classrooms, faculty offices and research space for academic departments. New Student Housing (RNEW)for first-year students is broken down into three wings of four stories each building. A new Town Hall is located in the southwest of the project and is designed to support gatherings of up to 275 people with a Civic Plaza to enable indoor/outdoor activities. As many as five buildings will be demolished to accommodate new building construction and site improvements. Nine existing buildings will include selective demolition of interior walls, all drywall and exterior stucco finishes and new roofing. Site Improvements are planned for approximately 8 acres and include new utilities, landscaping, hardscapes and an enhanced existing pedestrian bridge spanning the eastern ravine.
