Contractor shall apply for and obtain applicable Town of Davie Building permit(s). The permit(s) cost is reimbursable for the actual permit(s) fee cost only. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and tools necessary to convert the existing diatomaceous earth filters to a high-rate sand filtration system. This includes removal and disposal of existing pump and filters, and furnishing and installing a new pump and sand filter. In addition, the conversion project requires installation of a new motor control center with energy saving variable frequency drive and other ancillary parts, such as pipes etc. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
