The project consists of demolition of existing irrigation system and selective existing fence fabric. Site grading, installation of non‐ expansive subgrade material, install subsurface drainage, domestic water, irrigation and electrical infrastructure for electrical outlets. Installation of concrete edgeband and chain link fencing with windscreen. Construction of asphalt pavement coated with acrylic tennis court surface system and installation of tennis posts and netting. All bids shall be on the form provided by the District. Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, the Instructions to Bidders. As security for its Bid, each bidder shall provide with its Bid form a bid bond issued by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, cash, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Hayward Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. This bid security shall be a guarantee that the Bidder shall, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid.
