This item describes the Public Work Enforcement Fund (the Fund, PWEF) and its relevance to State agencies and public benefit corporations engaged in construction or reconstruction contracts, maintenance and repair, and announces the recently-enacted increase to the percentage of the dollar value of such contracts that must be deposited into the Fund. Each bid must be accompanied by a deposit in the form of bid bond, certified check or cashier’s check, made Payable to the city of New Rochelle, New York, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price (cash will not be accepted). The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
