The University of Texas at San Antonio is inviting bids for all labor, tools, equipment, and expenses to provide condary Internet service capable of transporting up to 10 Gb/s customer traffic as required in Disaster Recovery “DR” situations. The secondary Internet service or secondary Internet Service Provider (ISP) connection/system must include the following minimum requirements: a) 10Gb/s physical interface b) 10Gb/s Burstable IP port with a 1 Gb/s committed data rate Vendor requirements for the secondary Internet Service Provider (ISP) connection include: a) Fiber facilites utilized to deliver the circuit to the customer site must be vendor owned. b) Vendor's proposed solution must provide a physical route that is diverse from the primary connectivity location Point of Presence (POP) of 100 Taylor Street, San Antonio, TX, 78205. c) Vendor's proposed solution must be diverse of existing University campus pathways and existing service provider points in the San Antonio Metropolitan area. d) Vendor must be capable of providing full Microsoft ExpressRoute service offerings and connectivity. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply. The Anticipated term of this contract is 12 months will two additional 12 month terms.
