The Work will be awarded in two (2) contracts. Contract A: AMR Equipment. Under this contract, the Supplier must furnish the equipment, Itron software, training and technical support necessary for the City to install an automated meter reading (AMR) system, including meters, Itron ERT AMR transmitters, and Itron receiving equipment. Manufacturers must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the U.S. market with at least 5 AMR or AMI applications in Georgia. Contract B: AMR Installation. The scope of work for this project includes the installation of new water meters and associated AMR equipment for approximately 1,879 existing 5/8” water services and 63 existing 3/4”- 2” water services.
