This project consists of replacement of bearings and Drive for Low Lift pumps # 2 and 3. Concrete removal and patching or rebuilding. Work will be paid for by the cubic foot computed based on rectangular solid shapes approximating the actual shape of concrete removed and replaced with average depths, widths, and lengths, measured to the nearest inch, according to Drawings and Division 3 Section “Concrete Rehabilitation”. 2. Unit of Measurement: Cubic foot computed based on rectangular solid shapes approximating the actual shape of concrete removed and replaced with average depths, widths, and lengths, measured to the nearest inch, measured in place. Each bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid in the form of a certified check made payable to the City of Poughkeepsie or a bid bond subject to the conditions of this proposal. Performance and Labor bonds are required upon award. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
