Sealed bids for construction of Western Bypass Utility Relocations will be received until May 23rd 2019, 3 PM at the City of Waynesboro at 628 Myrick Street, Waynesboro, Georgia 30830 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. Bids may also be mailed to 628 Myrick Street, Waynesboro, Georgia 30830. Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The work shall consist of furnishing all products and equipment and performing all labor necessary to perform the following: The work to be done shall consist of providing all materials and performing all labor necessary but not limited to construct approximately 2000 linear feet of 16-inch ductile iron water main, 350 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main, 120 linear feet of directional boring under wetlands, all necessary fittings, grading, grassing, traffic control and miscellaneous construction work. Time allotted for completion of work is one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Work will be awarded in one (1) Contract.
