Total Small Business Set-Aside, 238170 - Siding Contractors. Work consists of the following: • Demolition of damaged siding and sheeting as needed for repairs. • Repair or replace plywood sheeting and add blocking necessary to properly nail sheeting. • Install moisture barrier such as polyethylene sheet or similar material compatible with wood siding to be used with plywood sheeting and redwood siding. • Install new Redwood siding in place of damaged siding. Estimated 120 linear feet of siding required. Work area of damage is approximately 40 square feet. • Remove current 120v 20 amp GFI electrical outlet to conduct work and replace with a blank cover hiding exposed wires. • Staining and sealing newly installed siding repair section to match existing siding color and texture. • All hot work such as welding, brazing, grinding, etc. must have a written fire plan to include dedicated fire watch. Portable fire extinguishers must be provided by contractor and made accessible to crew working there. • California State License Board B- General Building required. • 1 year warranty required for craftsmanship and material defects. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
