The County of Humboldt (“County”), by and through its Public Works Department – Facilities Management Division, is issuing this request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) to retain an experienced and qualified consulting firm to provide professional architecture and engineering services (“Services”) for the Public Health Laboratory Replacement Project (“Project”) which will include biosafety level 2 (BSL-2) and biosafety level 3 (BSL-3) laboratory spaces. The Successful Consultant must have the ability to provide trained and experienced personnel and staff to perform the Services set forth in this RFQ, which include, without limitation, preparing programming and planning studies, architectural design, construction cost estimating, building systems engineering, construction administration and other miscellaneous support services. It should be noted that this RFQ is a non-binding solicitation for such Services and may be canceled at any time.
