Location of Work Berenda Elementary School A. 1 set of Boys restrooms at room 16. 1 set of Girls restrooms at room 17. Restrooms are located on the exterior end of the classroom wing. Madera High School A. Building 100: 2 sets of men’s and women’s restrooms B. 1 unisex restroom in Multi-Purpose Building (Kitchen Staff Restroom). Work to be Performed A. Removal and disposal of all plumbing fixtures and partitions. Removal and disposal of existing tile and wall components to expose bare wood studs. Existing floor tile to remain, new floor tile to be installed over existing floor tile. Removal and disposal of existing sheet vinyl flooring. Secure and protect existing plumbing water and drain connections. B. Reinstall 1/2” USG Durock brand cement board over 19/32” Oriented Strand Board (OSB) where existing tile and wallboard was removed. Install new wall and floor tile. Height of the new wall tile will be the same as the removed tile. Reference pictures for color and pattern. Install new vinyl flooring, cove and cove cap where noted. District Self-Performed Work – Contractor Coordination A. The District may need to lower water and drain connections of some urinals to be compliant with ADA requirements. The contractor will coordinate with the District and allow 5 days for the District to complete this work. B. The District will install all new water closet carriers and urinal backing plates. The contractor will coordinate with the District and allow time for the District to complete this work prior to install of OSB/Durock/tile. C. The District will provide and install all new plumbing fixtures, partitions and accessories Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
