A description of each project is listed below: Snell Street Transitional Housing: This housing site, located at 720 Snell Street in Sonora, California, has two 3-bedroom, 2 bath houses with a large shared yard. The two houses were recently renovated and upgrades installed. The intended is for transitional housing for up to a two-year stay for Homeless Services program participants. Public Health/Ambulance Building Conversion: The Public Health building is located at 2011 Cedar Road North in Sonora. The whole office building is 15,200 square feet of which approximately 6,00 square feet needs to be converted into a working ambulance station. The building was constructed in the early 1980's and is wood frame on a concrete slab foundation. The roof is composition shingles with three sections. In 2018 two sections of the roof were replaced and in 2014 the third section was replaced. Highway 108 Transitional Housing: This 5-bedroom house, located at 18740 Highway 108 in Jamestown, California, shares a site with an 18-room motel. The house has 3 attached studio hotel rooms. Both the house and the three attached rooms will be developed for use as transitional housing for Homeless Services program participants allowing a stay of up to two years. Highway 108 Permanent Housing: This 15-room motel, located at 18740 Highway 108 in Jamestown, California, will be converted to 15 fully self-contained studio apartments with one apartment designated for an on-site manager. This is a permanent housing initiative allowing for a stay longer than two years. Columbia Way Permanent Veterans Housing: This housing site, located at 136 Columbia Way in Sonora, California, was originally a church but most recently a dialysis center. The vision for this property is to create the maximum number of 1-bedroom self-contained apartments for use as permanent housing (longer than two years) for Veterans who are engaged in services through the Tuolumne County Veterans Service Office.
