Seminole County’s Public Works Department is seeking a qualified contractor to supply all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, coordination and incidentals necessary for the construction of 0.217 miles of recreational path that will allow connectivity and provide access from the US 17/92 adjacent sidewalks to the Cross Seminole Trail. The Scope of Work is to include, but not limited to, a retaining wall system, drainage improvements, concrete sidewalk, signage and pavement marking, clearing and grubbing, excavation, embankment, and the maintenance of traffic. Prime Contractor shall be FDOT Prequalified in the following work classes: 7. Drainage, 11. Grading. Prime Contractor or Utilized Subcontractor shall be FDOT Prequalified in the following work classes: 40. Sidewalk, 40. Handrail, 40. Retaining Wall. Contractor must be in business for at least (3) years and have completed at least (3) similar projects based on the Scope of Services within the last (5) years, and met or exceed all other requirements listed within this Solicitation and Scope of Services. Completion Time: Work must be substantially complete within (90) calendar days from the issued Notice to Proceed (NTP) and must reach final completion (30) calendar days after substantial completion. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
