Item #2 - Stair Repairs – Concrete Infill Work includes saw cutting, chipping, removal, and disposal of deteriorated and loose concrete infill from stair tread. Provide and install new concrete infill per detail and specifications. Item to include all material, saw cutting, material prep, and labor complete. Contractor to verify all dimensions prior to ordering of material. Locations AOBE. Item #3 - Stair Repairs – New Steel Stair Nosing Work includes cutting, chipping, removal, and disposal of deteriorated steel stair nosing. Provide, install, and weld new steel nosing to existing steel riser of sound condition as shown on plans and specifications. Item to include all material, cutting, welding, material prep, prime and paint, and labor complete. Contractor to verify all dimensions prior to ordering or fabrication. Locations AOBE. Item #4 - Stair Repairs – New Steel Stair Pan Work includes removal and disposal of deteriorated steel stair pan and associated carrier angle brackets. Provide, install, and weld new steel stair pans and carrier brackets as necessary to existing stringers as shown on plans and specifications, including prime and paint. Items to include all material, welding, and labor complete. This item is to be utilized when removal of concrete infill from Item #2 and existing steel stair pan is deemed evaluated to be not sufficeint to accept new concrete infill. Contractor to verify all dimensions prior to ordering or fabrication. Locations AOBE. Item #5 - Handrail Repair Work includes removal and disposal of deteriorated handrail at roof level stairway as noted on plans. Provide and weld new 1.25” diameter tube steel to existing tube steel rail as shown on plans, prime and paint to match existing handrail. Existing concrete is to be core drilled. Vertical handrail member to be anchored to core hole with Super Por Rock or non-shrink grout. All joints to be grinded and sanded smoothly for safety. Item to include all material, labor complete. Contractor to verify all dimensions prior to ordering and fabrication. Item #6 - Curtain Wall Brackets Work includes removal and disposal of existing bolted angled steel brackets and screws where repair/ replacement brackets are to be performed. Fabricate and install new steel brackets and hardware per plan. Work includes pulling curtain wall back toward garage structure at east stairwell between level 2 and level 4 (roof) temporarily to facilitate repairs and placement of new brackets. Item to include all material, labor complete. Contractor to verify all dimensions prior to ordering and fabrication. Locations AOBE. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
