The project generally consists of constructing segments 3, 4, and 5 of the five-segment North Fork Miners Trail from the Delta County Fairground east, approximately 5,800 linear feet, to the North Fork High School. Segments 3,4 and 5 represent approximately 1,075 linear feet of the total project length and include an 8-foot-wide trail and a 200-foot span pedestrian bridge over the North Fork of the Gunnison River. The trail is a soft surface ADA-compliant multi-use path for cyclists and pedestrians. Segments 3 and 5 consist of the trail. Segment 4 is the 12-foot-wide pedestrian bridge that links Segment 5 west to the fairgrounds and Segment 3 east to River Ridge Road. The pedestrian bridge includes concrete abutments on deep foundations using battered micropile's for structural support. The bridge deck is concrete supported by steel deck form on HSS floor beams. Additional components of the project include: · Furnishing and installing approximately 30 linear feet of 36-inch diameter corrugated steel pipe culverts · Furnishing and installing approximately 150 linear feet of 12-inch diameter corrugated steel pipe culverts · Furnishing and installing erosion controls and stormwater management · Furnishing and installing permanent landscape restoration and revegetation · Furnishing and installing project signs Bonds required.
