The County Commissioners of Caroline County, on behalf of the Caroline County Department of Public Works, are accepting contractor bids for the below County roads project. Work is generally described as follows: • Knife Box Road is an existing tar and chip county road, located east of Greensboro, Maryland, approximately 1.45 miles (+/-) in length and approximately 21 ft. wide. • Area of work: 12019 Knife Box Road to 50 ft. (+/-) south of the bridge over Garey Mill Pond Branch before Ellwanger Road. • Scope includes 1.5” wedging, leveling, 2” overlay, and shoulder backup. • MOT/2 VMS Boards/Flaggers. VMS boards are placed two weeks before the start date.
