The Port of Bellingham (Port) is soliciting written proposals from qualified firms, or teams of firms, interested in completing underwater and above-water condition assessments of marine infrastructure. The Port intends to issue an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a period of three years. Initial 2024 Scope of Work for Blaine Harbor: This survey will include the facilities at the public pier at West end of Marine Drive, as well as the fixed wood deck portion of the shoreline promenade near Gates 1 & 2. Initial 2024 Scope of Work for Squalicum Harbor: The initial scope of work in Squalicum Harbor is limited to the approximate areas shown in the RFPS. The condition survey will include inspection and assessment, both above and below water, of bulkheads, the piling, pile caps, stringers, decking, fender piles, walers, hangers, appurtenances, and electrical, fire and water utilities of two main structures, Gate 3 bulkhead and the Squalicum Sawtooth Pier. Initial 2024 Scope of Work for Fairhaven The initial scope of work in Fairhaven is limited to the approximate areas shown in the RFPS. The condition survey will include inspection and assessment, both above and below water, of haul out facility, bulkheads, piling, pile caps, stringers, decking, fender piles, walers, hangers, appurtenances, and electrical, fire and water utilities, gangway, floats of the Fairhaven Marine Industrial Park haul out facility.
