Bid improvements consist of replacement of a section of canal that includes open channel earth-lined sections, concrete chutes, and a portion of culvert piping with a new concrete screening box inlet, new 30-inch pipe, and concrete manhole structures. The final product will include restoration and road improvements, all in accordance with the contract plans, the contract provisions, and the specifications. The improvements are for construction of water conservation, operational and safety improvements to the District system. Requested work follows the existing South Branch Canal right-of-way alignment. The segment is near the Manastash Ridge Trailhead at the south end of Cove Road, Ellensburg, Washington. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
