We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Electrical Trade/C-10: Public Address/Clock System: Work includes but not limited to: Installation of a complete PA/Clock System consisting of speaker & clock devices in the combo housing units in the classrooms, offices, & MultiPurpose Room, speakers in the hallways, restrooms & play yards; Installation of head-end equipment in the new MDF room; Provide associated painted conduits and cable wiring; Programming the bell schedule per school requirements and staff training of PA/Clock system. Data Upgrade: Work include but not limited to: Installation of data drops the classrooms and MultiPurpose Room, multiple data drops in the office and at various locations; Installation of electrical outlets, DoT prescribed racks, technology equipment, and panels. Provide associated painted conduits, fiber, low-voltage wiring, and electrical wiring. Remove to salvage existing WAP units for the District. Remove associated wiring. Remove and provide a new IDF. Remove associated wiring. Modification of a new MDF room consisting of the removal and installation of fire rated plywood backing boards, light fixtures with sensor, patch floor with linoleum, finished base, and room signage. Installation of a new A/C mini-split system in the MDF room with piping, equipment pad, and chain link fence with gate enclosure. Move classroom furniture and items on the wall where necessary for the installation of data system. Return the furniture to its original location after installation. Data cabling, fiber, and low-voltage system work in this section must be performed by contractor C-7 licensed and Belden Certified. Electrical, Low Voltage, and HazMat Trades Requested. This project also includes the hazardous material and lead remedial work. The Estimate Construction Value: $400,000.
