We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
The Morena Conveyance North project includes the installation of 48”wastewater force main pipeline (approx. 20,870 LF) and 30-inch Welded Steel Pipe brinecentrate/conveyance pipeline (approx. 20,870 LF) north along Genesee Ave, east along Nobel Dr. north along Town Center Dr., east along Executive Dr., and underneath I-805 to the North City Water Reclamation Plant. The work involves tunneling underneath San Clemente Canyon, Rose Canyon, and I-805; potholing existing utilities, SWPPP, dewatering non-hazardous contaminated water, video recording of existing conditions, monitoring contaminated soil, testing, sampling, site storage and handling of petroleum contaminated soil, pavement removal and disposal, large tree root removal, cold mill AC pavement, traffic detector loop, rubber polymer modified slurry, asphalt concrete, pavement restoration adjacent to trench, crack seal, curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk, curb ramp with detectable warning tiles, forcemain 48”, brine/centrate 30” WSP CML & TCMC, trench shoring, tunneling, sewer plug with bypass, painted traffic striping and markings and painted curb markings, thermoplastic traffic striping, traffic control, traffic signal light system restoration, fiber optic cable and conduit, cathodic protection, 25 month revegetation maintenance and monitoring program, MM-HAZ 5 munitions survey and UXO identification, remove & replace electrical sidewalk, modified curb ramps per new ADA requirements.

Subcontractors will be required to abide by the terms and conditions of the AGC Standard Long Form Subcontract incorporating prime contract terms and conditions, including payment provisions & insurance requirements. S.P. Rados, Inc.’s listing of a subcontractor is not to be construed as an acceptance of all the subcontractor’s conditions or exceptions included with the Subcontractor’s price quote. Subcontractors will be required to provide a payment & performance bond from an approved surety company for 100% of the subcontracted work. S.P. Rados, Inc. will pay reasonable bond premium up to 1.5% (optional). Please be advised, Contractors and Subcontractors must register with the D.I.R. (Department of Industrial Relations) in order to bid on public works projects. Registration with the D.I.R. costs $300 and covers the fiscal year (July 1 to June 30th). We will assist in obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials & related assistance or services. We will consider dividing total requirements when economically feasible into smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation by DBEs in the competitive process. We also require that subcontractors comply with Good Faith Effort in accordance with the law & bid requirements
