We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Road and Highway Builders, llc (RHB) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers, including certified DVBE firms for the following items of work, but quotes will be accepted for all work items: LEAD COMPLIANCE PLAN; TIME-RELATED OVERHEAD (WDAY); CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS; TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM; PORTABLE FLASHING BEACONS (EA); PORTABLE CHANGEABLE MESSAGE SIGN (LS); JOB SITE MANAGEMENT; PREPARE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PROGRAM; ROADWAY EXCAVATION; SHOULDER BACKING; IMPORTED BORROW (CY); COMPOST SOCK; CLASS 3 AGGREGATE BASE (CY); HOT MIX ASPHALT (TYPE A); ASPHALT BINDER (GEOSYNTHETIC PAVEMENT INTERLAYER); GEOSYNTHETIC PAVEMENT INTERLAYER (PAVING MAT); TACK COAT; COLD PLANE ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT and PAINT TRAFFIC STRIPE (2-COAT). Items of work may be broken down into economically feasible packages to encourage participation. RHB intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms interested in working on this project.

A 100% Payment and Performance Bond may be required, as well as insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting Caltrans requirements. A current, valid California contractors license and a DIR # are necessary. Assistance with bonding, insurance, lines of credit, materials, equipment and supplies is available. Also, the project plans and specifications are available to be viewed at our office or by contacting the Project Manager with questions or to receive copies of the Plans and Specifications. All subcontractors will be required to sign the standard RHB subcontract Agreement.
